How do I IMPORT my existing data into MKIS LOGIC™? MKIS LOGIC's step-by-step process guides you through importing all types of contact data and related additional information, notes, etc, quickly, accurately and safely over the internet into the system. Special 'Import Templates' can also be set-up to create semi and fully automated routines. The data to be imported needs to be in a Microsoft Excel© or CSV (comma separated value) file format. You can also add individual records and information manually using various 'ADD' buttons. For MKIS LOGIC users with Administrator-rights or import-rights, they can use the import steps to move data into MKIS LOGIC at anytime.
Is there TRAINING available if I need it? Yes, MKIS can provide training on MKIS LOGIC. The system is also very intuitive to use, which helps makes any training quick and easy. Training can be done individually (train-the-trainer style) or in small groups. Training can be onsite - or via online live tutorials. To ensure success, training is customised - so e.g. a sales person will want to understand the pipeline functions, compared to a marketer who will want to more detail on the Campaign planning tools. Can I add custom LABELS and FIELDS in MKIS LOGIC™? Yes, you can quickly add fields such as text-based, pick-lists or multiple choice, as well as customise various existing fields and labels. These can also be included on appropriately related reports and dashboards.
How do I get SUPPORT? Technical support is provided for MKIS LOGIC™ Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm GMT. Customers receive unlimited technical support via email included in the subscription charge. What involvement is needed from my company's IT department? Very little - if at all, because there is no hardware, software, or network equipment to purchase and the application is accessed through a standard Web browser, your IT department does not need to be involved in implementing or maintaining MKIS LOGIC.
Where is MKIS LOGIC™ HOSTED? MKIS LOGIC is hosted at a dedicated reputable data center in the Midlands, UK. To avoid a single point of failure, multiple service providers are used to provide network connectivity, ensuring maximum network availability. Power delivery to servers is protected by a combination of static un-interruptible power supply (UPS) units, plus a backup diesel generator. This arrangement helps to protect against disruption to the hosting service. Physical access to the facility is tightly controlled, including 24 hour security and controlled access to all areas.

The system was built to offer a secure alternative to companies trying to manage this type of data on servers or PCs in one or multiple offices, or on Sales peoples laptops – and combat the typical problems and risks that comes with this type of sales and marketing data.
Every aspect has been carefully constructed and set-up for maximum protection, including every user’s access set to the correct level/role, with your Administrators seeing and controlling who can do what. E.g. features include preventing the export of data, and recording what data was accessed or exported.
MKIS also continually invests in all aspects of security – across system R&D, proactive research of new technical advances and potential threats, and in the first-class hosting, monitoring and back-up of data.
Are there ACCESS RIGHTS and HIERARCHIES?
Yes, MKIS LOGIC has a leading and highly comprehensive method of setting and monitoring user's access and feature rights - which works fully in combination with every aspect across the entire system - and can be administered on-the-fly.
Access to the system can only be gained via a valid authorised username and password, which must be supplied every time to login to the system. Cross-functional and multi-level hierarchies create tailored access to data, screens and functions.
Is DATA ENCRYPTED for SECURITY? Yes, to ensure data security, 128bit SSL communication is supported between the client and server. This encrypts all communications between the client and server, so that data cannot be intercepted during transmission. The padlock icon that appears in the bottom right corner of the browser window screen signifies that the connection is secure. The system also has a range of System Administration features that can be used provide complete visibility and control of what users can see and do, e.g. exporting data.
How long does it take to IMPLEMENT MKIS LOGIC™? MKIS LOGIC is instantly available and can be up and running within hours. Typical set-up time to be fully operational is between 1 - 5 days.
Do you provide an SLA (Service Level Agreement)? Yes, for the full Enterprise Edition of MKIS LOGIC, an SLA is available, which gives guarantees of uptime, support response times, etc.
What happens to my data if I decide not to purchase after 14 days? At any time during the 14-day trial, you can export all of your data into Microsoft Excel© using our export wizard. A reminder email will be sent 24 hrs before your trail is due to expire and if you chose not to purchase MKIS LOGIC, all data will be deleted and access removed when your trial expires.
Can I get a BACK-UP of my MKIS LOGIC™ data? Yes, a backup of your data can be provided via our FTP site in Microsoft Excel© format.
What security precautions does MKIS take? The MKIS LOGIC network perimeter is protected by firewalls and monitored by intrusion detection systems. MKIS also continuously monitors and analyzes firewall logs to proactively identify security threats.
How is my DATA STORED to ensure SECURE BACK-UP? All customer data is stored on RAID© disk arrays with databases replicated to remote backup machines. This also ensures that if the production facility were to be rendered unavailable the backup site could be brought into use with minimal downtime. Full database backups are also made twice daily and stored for 3 months.
